Pollyanna

Pollyanna’s lush, serenely surreal celebrations of the child within spotlight her signature character Polly, a symbolic figure inspired by the hydrangea, a species of ornamental flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia.

Manila-based Pollyanna Iris Dee graduated from the University of the Philippines’ College of Fine Arts with a degree in visual communication. Her mixed-media aesthetic seamlessly blends traditional illustration and digital abstraction, bringing to life a floral fantasy world rooted in complex human emotions. Group exhibition and art fair appearances across Southeast Asia, Europe and North America preceded Pollyanna’s Chicago debut at Vertical Gallery’s 2024 Holiday Group Show, and she makes her return in March 2026 as one of 13 artists featured in our 13-Year Anniversary Group Show.
