Nigel Peake
Nigel Peake was born in Ireland in 1981 and was trained as an architect at the University of Edinburgh. In 2005 he was awarded a silver medal commendation by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for his thesis project. He cycled from Edinburgh to Budapest in 2007, and in 2011 a collection of his drawings was published by Princeton Architectural Press. In the past 10 years, Peake has written and drawn forty books. He lived in Switzerland for two years to teach an architectural studio and currently lives the UK. Peake’s clients include The Tate Modern, FLOS, NY Times, Phaidon, Hermès, and Ninja Tune. He has exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Paris, Shanghai and London.
