Nancy Segal, a Chicago artist, began her career in graphic design working for several years as an art director in the the advertising field. Nancy's graphic ability led her to beaded jewelry design where for years she successfully sold her designs in galleries, boutiques, and art shows. Over the last few years, Nancy has emerged as a sought after artist specializing in beaded sculpture creations.

Using whimsey as intention, she incorporates American archetypes, nursery rhyme, and commercial themes in her beaded forms. Hand gluing multi-colored seed beads, rhinestones, mosaic tiles, and discovered vintage objects, she transforms the mundane into dazzling creations of wonder.
