Ingebjorg Stoyva

Ingebjorg Stoyva grew up in a small village by the Sognefjord, Norway. She is a narrative painter - the act of suggesting, rather than stating, a mood or a story- and applies illustrative techniques to her work. Painting gives Ingebjorg other ways to tell stories, and to communicate without using the spoken word.    Her own hope is that the elements in her work are somehow emotionally recognizable.
