From the artist about the artwork:
"The True Treasures" is a series of four paintings that represent the essential values for walking our path with fulfillment and happiness: love, curiosity and reflection, dreams and self-belief, and gratitude and humility along with health.
Each piece is independent, yet they are all connected through space, an element that symbolizes our interconnectedness, our origin, our present, and our essence. Space not only acts as a unifying background but also represents those eternal questions about life, existence, and the meaning of everything around us. It reminds us that everything in life is intertwined: where we come from, where we are, and what we are.
In each painting, my character unveils the image, revealing the gold hidden beneath, a metaphor for the treasure that each value represents and that we must protect. This gesture not only exposes the richness of these principles but also suggests that, more often than not, the most valuable things are already within us, waiting to be discovered.
The series is designed as a continuous cycle, where the order of the paintings can change but always follows a circular flow. The first can become the last, the second can move to the beginning, and so on, maintaining their connection. This structure reflects the balance and natural transition of these values in our lives: love drives curiosity, reflection leads to dreaming, self-belief allows us to move forward with gratitude, and health sustains us to continue the journey.
Each piece is marked by a color that represents its meaning, reinforcing the unique identity of each treasure and evoking the emotions and energy these values bring us. Through this series, I seek to invite reflection on what truly matters, the invisible pillars that guide our existence and connect us with our own essence.
