Alex Senna

Alex Senna (b. 1982) is an artist and illustrator from Sao Paulo. He is widely known for his expressive murals of lanky characters that usually revolve around love, romance and friendship that bring an overwhelming softness to their grey urban surroundings. A self-taught artist inspired by creatives such as Speto, Vitché, Twist, Ziraldo, Walt Disney and Will Eisner, Senna combines illustration, comics, and graffiti from the 1990’s into a playful poetic narrative.

Alex has exhibited and painted murals in Brazil, England, Italy, South Korea, Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Spain.

The exhibition Anamnesis runs September 2 -23 and features all new paintings and mixed-media work inspired by a romantic, melancholic dialogue with its viewer and surroundings - revealing everyday social and personal stories with grace and humor.

All artwork purchased from this exhibition can be picked up or will ship after September 23.
