Chicago, IL – April 24, 2013 – Vertical Gallery is pleased to present their second group show “Assemble”. “Assemble” will feature a diverse collection of work exploring painting, print-making, mixed-media, sculpture and assembled materials from Chicago artists Vincent Grech, Chris Silva, Lauren Feece and Tom Buban. The show will also feature Brazilian artist Fernando Chamarelli, Miami artist Alex Yanes, San Francisco artist Jenny Robinson and see the return of New York artist Michael Rodriguez to the Chicago market showing new works. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 6:00 – 10:00pm. “Assemble” will be open to the public through May 25. 

Vertical Gallery is a new gallery dedicated to urban-contemporary art in Chicago at 1016 N. Western Avenue in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood. The gallery focuses on work influenced by urban environments, street art and street culture, graffiti, pop culture and illustration. New exhibits highlighting local, national and international artists are planned monthly. The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00am – 6:00pm.
